Massage Services Offered

Deep Tissue

Similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

Thai Massage

Thai massage dates back 2,500 years ago, developed by Buddhist monks in Thailand. It uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. Thai massage has its roots in a spiritual tradition, and its purpose is to heal a person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Trigger Points

Consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spasm. ... The therapeutic pressure and massage typically produces initial soreness and "good pain" in muscle tissue.

Zhi Ya (Deep Tissue using fingers)

Zhi Ya is a Chinese massage therapy that stimulates certain points of the body to cause nerve reactions that end up relieving the body and mind of stress, strain and tension. It boosts the body’s immunity and brings inner peace. We utilize this technique to promote the relief of pain and soreness.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is the most popular type of massage in the United States. It involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity.   It is  designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

Hot Stone

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Four Hands

A great treat to be experienced.  Two therapists work together to bring the body to a complete state of relaxation.
